Há momentos muito peculiares que aparecem em nossas vidas com valor histórico inquestionável, um deles com certeza é o trabalho que o nosso cliente Fábio Freitas gentilmente trouxe até nós. O material é de muito apreço sentimental para a família e necessitava de uma impressão em substratos que pudessem preservar essas memórias de tanto valor.
Foram escaneadas as imagens originais em revelação analógica da época da II Guerra Mundial e os arquivos digitais foram tratados para representam com fidelidade a visão do fotógrafo.
Posteriormente o arquivo digital aprovado foi impresso em papel de algodão com pigmento mineral (o estado da arte da impressão) que preserva por centenas de anos as imagens em condições museológicas.
Por questões de discrição (a pedido do cliente), que é filho do fotógrafo com quase 100 anos, não poderemos revelar mais detalhes sobre os bastidores da captura em respeito a decisão do cliente. Esperamos que em breve, consigamos compreender melhor esse trabalho intrigante de um dos momentos mais marcantes da história da humanidade. Nosso agradecimento pela oportunidade de tanto aprendizado! Legacy!
There are very peculiar moments that appear in our lives with unquestionable historical value, one of them for sure is the work that our client Fábio Freitas kindly brought to us. The material has a very sentimental appreciation by the family and needed an impression on substrate that could preserve these memories of such value.
The analogue original images of the time of World War II were scanned and the digital files were treated to represent with fidelity the vision of the photographer. Later, the approved digital file was printed on cotton paper with mineral pigment (the state of the art of printing), which preserves for hundreds of years the images under museological conditions.
As a matter of discretion at the request of the client, who is the son of the photographer who is almost 100 years old, we will not be able to reveal more details about the scenes of the capture in respect to the client’s decision. We hope that we will soon be able to better understand this intriguing work of one of the most remarkable moments in human history. Our thanks for the opportunity of so much learning!
